Ok well this will be my last entry on this thing. Its been almost 2 years and I have told some of my deepest secrets on here, well maybe not deepest but still. Well the last time I wrote my summer was just getting underway and I had a job. Well that lasted all of about a week LMAO but its all good. And no I never did find another one. Ohh well. But as of now I'm working for my mommy and she is paying me $5/hour, better than nothing. Well Jackie graduated and it was sad, I cried my eyes out, I love all of them. Umm it was parties galore for a while there, which was fun. Spent most of the summer so far just bumming around the house doing nothing at all. But the best part by far just happened on July 8th 27 of us from Dougherty (23 students/grads and 4 adutls: Sal, FC, Kohler, and Mama Pinero) all set out for BIG SKY COUNTRY aka Montana. So after 2 long as plane rides, which I spent next to Colleen Meany and Kristopher, and about a 3 hour car ride we finally arived at St. Labre Indian School at about 2:30 am (Montana time which is 4:30 Philly time). Well it was already looking better than Kentucky, we had these nice ass rooms, two beds in a room (me and Jackie roomed together) w/ air conditioning and our own bathroom, well actually conjoined ones w/ the people next store who for me was Jill and Colleen M. Well Sunday we kinda just slept in and layed around while Mamma P and FC went food shopping, 2 HOURS AWAY! HAHA it took them 7 hours from teh time they left to when they got back. So in the mean time me, Mary, and Dan planned our school thing for Monday. And then some of us decided to take a walk to the "general store" which was about 1/2 mile to a mile away, i really don't know how these people live. lol Then on Sunday night we had mass in probably what is the most beautiful church I have ever seen in my entire life. I can't even describe it. Well Monday came and we started classes. Me, Mary and Dan were nervous cause we had the older kids (6th-8th grades) and well they were hard. It was so frustrating but then came the sadiest part of all, most of them lived toghether in a group home. Meaning that their parents just drop them off there whenever they feel as though they can't take care of them, it is soo sad. No lie half the time when on of us said something about a parent or home, the kids would ask us "you have parents? and you live w/ them?" like it was unormal, it was soo sad. And the other sad thing was that the things they thought were normal were things that we thought were sooo horrible, like drugs and alcohol and violence, they act like it is an everyday thing. For instance this one girl told this story about her grandmom getting her legs chopped off my some teenager in the neighborhood like it was the most common thing ever. So we realized the these kids don't care about the Bible they just need someone to talk to and to listen and to lean on and to play with. So thats what we decided to do, we threw our lessons aside and just spent time with these kids. They are probably teh bravest kids I have ever met. The one I got closest to was Noah, omg that kid cracked me up. He is 11 and he was sitting there asking me all kinds of questions about drugs, alcohol and college. and then he goes on about sex and stuff, I feel in love with him in an instant. And then there was Tanya, wow that girl has a brain, she is soo amazing and her smile could light up the entire world. And everyone else who was in my class: Theron, Ashley, Tyree, Cienna, Red Leaf, Fawn, Emonda, and for that one day RJ, they all just touched my heart and I will never forget them and I hope that they never forget us. The only thing that scares me is that they might think we abandoned them, cause we never got to say bye. On Thursday afternoon we were all getting ready to go to the pool and all of the sudden smoke just started to cloud the outside, it was everywhere, and we found out that the forrest fire (that started the night before) jumped the river and was headed straight for the school. So FC being in charge of us, had to get us out of there as quick as possible, so we had to leave the kids right then and there some crying there eyes out, with no goodbye or anything. Now all I want to do is say goodbye to them and let them know what an impact they made on my life and that I will never forget them for as long as I live, hopefully one day I will get the chance.

So the rest of the trip was great. We drove 5 hours to Livingston, Montana where our hotel was. On Friday we all (minus the adults and all teh guys except Dan Kee) walked a mile to get into town and we decided to go to eat at this little corner deli and we sit down and guess who is sitting at the tabel right next to mine? Umm Coral from Real World and her bf Abe from Road Rules, we like freaked but not really but I think they might of got pissed at us cause they got up and left. Ohh well it was pretty cool thought (apparently Abe if from Livingston). So then on friday night we went to this resort place that had thse pools but the water in them came from teh hot springs in the mountain, we had so much fun that night. Then on Sat. it was up bright and early casue we went to Yellowstone National Park, adn then to Old Faithful, let me tell you its not all its hyped up to be. Then Sat. night Uncle Fred (FC's uncle) cooked dinner for us, it was really good and then we had out closing ceramonies, it was soo sad, cause this is my last service project w/ Dougherty, well at lest as a student, I will probably be back as a chaperone in a few years. But this was the best one yet, I mean they were all differnt but I got so much out of this and came home with soo many more frineds. OMG the senior girls (Marriele, Ashley, Gina, Colleen C, and Kristina) I love them to death, they are soo amazing, and then of course my recent grads, i love them all but I was able to get to know alot of them better cause of this. and then there are my 4 fellow '05 ers I love each of them especially Colleen for being my partner in crime the entire week!! But I have to give a special thanks to Mary and Dan P cause w/o them I would of give up on those kids the very first day, I love both of them to death!!!

Well the rest of my summer will be working for my mom so I can make money cause on Aug 12th I am heading to Florida to meet Kelly and we are taking a 3-4 day road trip back up to Philly, it is going to be one wild time lol, watch out east coast.!!

Well as I said in teh begginning this is my last entry, so I want to thank all of you who have stayed there with me for all my ups and downs, it was one hell of a rollar coaster ride. I love all of you and you can look me up on myspace! Well peace xanga!
